Job Applicants use TrialByHire.com for a "preview" of what it might be like working for their Prospective Employer prior to accepting a formal, long-term job offer. Job Applicants take an "employment test drive" at their Prospective Employer until such a time that both parties are certain that a longer-term employment relationship should be established. Essentially, you (the Job Applicant) check them out while they're checking you out.

Before making a long-term commitment with a Prospective Employer, wouldn't you like to know....

Does their corporate culture fit you?

Is the new job everything they said it would be? And everything you hoped for?

How are their other employees? Friendly? Do they like working there?

Will YOU like working there?

There's no better way to find out the answers to these questions "first hand"...than by working for your Prospective Employer on a trial basis...through TrialByHire.com

Your "Prospective Employer" has contacted TrialByHire.com because they are interested in hiring you. You may or may not be aware of what we are about to say...so we'll just say it. When a company hires an employee...., it is a big commitment,... a VERY big commitment. The company is not only taking on a financial commitment, but they also become responsible for many other issues and duties above and beyond giving you a steady paycheck. So, before your Prospective Employer is ready to proceed in hiring you as their employee, they are instituting a "trial period" to see how well (or even if) you will meet their expectations. This "trial period" gives your Prospective Employer a chance to get to know you and see you in action. And frankly, it's a chance for you to "get to know them" and to "try them out" too!
By now, you and your Prospective Employer have probably had one or more interviews together. And they are obviously interested in you. Although interested, your Prospective Employer needs some assurance that hiring you will work out as they hope. Therefore, they have decided to institute a "Test Period" prior to making the final decision to put you on their payroll as their employee. This is where TrialByHire.com comes in. TrialByHire.com is a service provided by Top Echelon Contracting, Inc., (who is a company that was founded in Canton Ohio in 1992). Since 1992, Top Echelon Contracting has placed over 12,000 short-term Contact Employees into thousands of companies all over the United States. Putting this together... Your Prospective Employer is requesting that TrialByHire.com (care of Top Echelon Contracting) hires you as a short-term Contract Employee, so that you can come to their location and work on a temporary, trial basis.... a "test period." How long will this test period be? Well, that depends on your Prospective Employer and on you. Your Prospective Employer could specify that they want a 90-day "test period." Or, they could pick a longer period, or a shorter period. It just depends on how much time they need to make their decision. And when we say it depends upon you.... We mean that the quality of your work and your work ethic could expedite this process. So you will want to work hard and prove to your Prospective Employer that you will make a great employee!
To become a "Contract Employee" of TrialByHire.com (a service of Top Echelon Contracting), we will ask you to complete an employment packet. Basically, it's your pre-employment paperwork that we need to have completed including such items as an Employment Contract, a Background Information and Authorization Form, a form asking what types of optional benefits you want, a W-4 form, an I-9 immigration form, a Direct Deposit authorization form, and information about your weekly payroll and weekly time sheets. Once all of your pre-employment paperwork is finalized and approved, we will notify you that you have been hired as a Contract Employee of Top Echelon Contracting. And we will give you the start date and location of your assignment with..."The Company" (who is basically your Prospective Employer who you are hoping will hire you.) So to summarize..., at this point in the process, you would be a Contract Employee working for Top Echelon Contracting on a temporary assignment at another Company of great interest to you. This other Company of course, is the Company who you are hoping will hire you onto their payroll.
As a Contract Employee of Top Echelon Contracting, your assignment will be to go to this other Company and work, and learn, and adapt. Remember, they're testing you, and of course we know... that you're checking them out as well. It will be your responsibility to track the hours you work using time sheets and systems that we provide you. You will have your time sheets approved, confirming that your time sheet is correct. Usually, the person supervising you will be the person to approve your time sheet. In order to be paid, you will need to turn in your approved time sheets to TrialByHire.com every Monday by 1:00pm Eastern Standard Time for the previous work week. Our Payroll Department is amazingly accurate and consistent. Your paycheck will be mailed each Thursday to the address you provide our office. Or better yet, if you choose our Direct Deposit option, your paycheck will promptly arrive into your bank account for you each Friday. Our Contract Employees love the fact that they are paid weekly.
We are sure that you will have many more questions... Everything from: How much will I be paid? to... What benefits will I receive? For this reason, we have put a list of Job Applicants' Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) on the TrialByHire.com web site. That list will hopefully answer the balance of your questions. If not, simply call our office, and we'll be happy to answer any questions you have. We need to mention that your assignment as a Contract Employee with TrialByHire.com and Top Echelon Contracting, Inc., is an "at will" employment arrangement...which means that you can quit your employment with Top Echelon Contracting "at any time and for any reason," and likewise, we can terminate your employment with us "at any time for any reason." Now remember... If your temporary assignment at the Company (your Prospective Employer) goes well, you may receive an offer of employment from them. There's no guarantee, but this should be your goal. However, if at any time your assignment at The Company does not go well, your contract employment assignment with Top Echelon Contracting will end, and you probably will not receive an offer of employment from The Company. This is why it's called a Trial Period.... Trial by Hire. If you want to be hired, you have to pass the Trial Period. So good luck... Work hard... Work smart.... You'll do great!
Job Applicants should find out if they will be happy in their new jobs, before they accept the job offer. A contract-to-hire situation lets the Applicant take
his/her new employment situation for a "Test Drive." An employment test drive will show the Job Applicant what the new job will really be like!
